アメリカ上空を飛ぶスパイ気球が話題になっていた頃、 2人の田舎者の白人が墜落するスパイ気球を発見！「スパイを警察に渡せばヒーローになれる」と墜落現場に向かうが、そこで彼らの人生を変える出来事が待ち受けていた。

At a time when American skies were buzzing with talk of a foreign spy balloon, two rural white men stumble upon one as it crashes near their home. Convinced that handing the spy over to the police will turn them into heroes overnight, they head straight for the crash site — only to find something there that will change the course of their lives.
